Playing Hookie | Jacksonville Child Photographer

You know some days you just need to not be an adult and play hookie, well today was that day. We all woke up just feeling yucky and there is no better way to turn a frown upside down then to head to the beach! First things first, we stopped at my favorite breakfast spot Southern Grounds located in Neptune Beach, get the Grits Bowl soooo yummy!

Not going to lie, Avery maybe sat for 5 minutes and we had to take our bagels to go and I sucked down my iced coffee so fast but it was a nice to get some breakfast while smelling the salt air, bagels and coffee.

I wanted to share this with you today because I am teaching a Mom’s Photography Class, click here for details —–> April 21st | Sunshine & Camera’s

You don’t need a ton of editing, actions, photoshop to capture your story! Join me and we will go over how to expose/capture/light/details/etc. Class is almost full so don’t hesitate!!!

She got a boo-boo, poor thing but it didn’t slow her down!!!Southern Grounds is right at the beach so we just headed there after our bellies were full. It is so awesome having big kids and a baby, they really do want to help do everything! Aiden was a champ and plowed her through the deep sand to head to the beach! We didn’t bring much, which is perfect for quick trip! Also, our North Face backpack is our diaper bag which is also amazing for parents because it allows you to be hands free and also their siblings can help too!Has to be first to check out the scene! When you ask her what a bird says, she does this silly thing with her hands (vision tickling herself). Its just the cutest!Much needed break for Aiden, he helps me out SOOO MUCH!!!! Wish I could let him play hookie everyday.I caught the 2 of them playing by themselves, so much sibling love!

Messy hair, don’t care. Mom life.

Poor Jake, Aiden made him make multiple trips to get water with these small buckets. haha!!

She loves playing with them!

Have to give it to her, she has determination!!
